چکیده

The paper reports the record of Pseudochromadora gomoi sp.n. in circalittoral habitats (at depths 47–59 m) Romanian Black Sea waters. species is characterized by a unispiral amphidial fovea, presence lateral alae stretching from posterior end cardia to level cloacal opening, but also shows unique features found other Desmodorida genera (i.e., precloacal ventral ala males similar several Desmodora or Echinodesmodora and eight subcephalic setae on head capsule). constrictor cuticle ring orange elongated ducts anterior body part as Pseudodesmodora lacrima, Leduc Wharton, 2010, were noted. morphometric measurements our differ most reported specialty literature. We extracted counted all desmodorid individuals 9 meiobenthic samples collected June 2020, performed detailed morphological analysis 12 (5 females 7 males) belonging species, highlighting dissimilarities with related species.

One new genus and two new free-living nematode species (Desmodorida, Desmodoridae) from the continental margin of New Zealand, Southwest Pacific Ocean.

One new genus and two new species of the family Desmodoridae are described from the upper continental slope of New Zealand, at 350-1240 m water depths. Onepunema gen. n. is characterised by a striated head capsule, small buccal cavity without teeth, and presence of two testes. Onepunema gen. n. can be differentiated from all other genera of the family by the presence of two testes, which is an ...

Three new species of free-living marine nematodes from East China Sea.

Three new species of free-living marine nematodes from intertidal sands in Xiamen, Fujian province are described and illustrated. Bathylaimus denticulatus sp. n. can be distinguished by a relatively small buccal cavity with its second part armed with two distinct teeth, short 2-3 μm labial and 12-16 μm cephalic setae and amphids of 0.8-0.9 turns. Oncholaimus minor sp. n. is characterized by its...

Four new species of free-living marine nematodes of the family Desmodoridae (Nematoda: Desmodorida) and a redescription of Desmodora nini (Inglis, 1963) from the continental shelf off northeastern Brazil.

Four new species of marine nematodes were collected from the continental shelf of the Potiguar Basin in northeastern Brazil. Zalonema vicentei sp. n. and Zalonema mariae sp. n. are characterized by having multispiral fovea amphidialis, lateral alae and ventral ala. These features also are found in Pseudochromadora, Desmodorella and Psammonema. They differ in the cephalic arrangement, and shape ...

Free-living and aggregate-associated Planctomycetes in the Black Sea.

We examined the distribution of uncultured Planctomycetes phylotypes along depth profiles spanning the redox gradient of the Black Sea suboxic zone to gain insight into their respective ecological niches. Planctomycetes phylogeny correlated with depth and chemical profiles, implying similar metabolisms within phylogenetic groups. A suboxic zone sample was split into > 30 and < 30 μm fractions t...
